Actually that is a reason i can accept and support LOL. I just can't support the people who say, omg Fractal abaddon lore or because Charr = everything etc haha. Making a decision on the actual possible effect on the future story is a good way to make a decision for election :3

Um. Making a decision based on what sounds more fun or interesting is definitely legit. I'm not going to vote for something based off mostly irrelevant unimportant politics that won't affect the game enough for me to care.
A char who's interested in Abaddon for evil reasons sounds more fun and interesting than trahearne v1.5

As an Asura you should vote for delving into the History of that Reactor (And revealing Evon to be the Aetherblade/Inquest benefactor!).

It's definitely a good reason to choose one or the other.

I'M gonna vote for Kiel because I like her (however cliché her character is) and I don't like the char guy that I don't even care enough to remember the name properly.




Also I have this gut feeling that its just gonna be another achievement grind: do 20 activities supporting this candidate! Done? Now do 25 more supporting the other one! Done? Now stand around AFK at a specific time and let the nameless NPC's of LA choose the new councilor without you. Or better yet, at th last minute someone will hijack the election and we have to make a choice inside an instance thats already decided for us (like Evon suddenly being arrested or Kiel dying for the city).

I don't know why but im really skeptical and don't really believe Anet will give us control over their narrative. They have a schedule to keep.
