I dont know why theres always fights here, i guess thats the main reason why i dont like reading the forum, everyone need to calm down a bit and be cool with the changes to come.

I wish best of luck to anyone leaving and everyone staying here, ebay is a great community and please guys remember this is a game, is just for fun, if you stop having fun is better to make a change and thats whats going on with the wvw guilds, they are all moving looking for more fun and having a great time in gw2, try to understand that please.

Im moving with ZoD. Since FTF i've been loyal to Noice and the crew so im staying with them and moving to SoS, but i will do my best to represent ebay there 'cause no matter what ebay is my homeland and i will always respect everyone that do something for this server.

And again, good luck to everyone, ebay community, the guys moving to FA and everyone moving to SoS, was a great time and i hope to see you soon guys.

It's not at all hard to make this arguement. I do everything PvE Related at a much higher level than most everyone else on Ehmry Bay and I pretty much garuntee you got lucky at the marionette if anything. The only reason Ehmry was even half way able to get the first marionette kill was because literally every other server gave absolutely zero fucks about the Marionette. You can hate me for my opinions all you like but that wont falsify them one bit. Ehmry Bay also suffers from Commander E-Peen battles, if something fails it's literally always someone elses fault. Take credit for your actions holy shit. You're not perfect in any way and neither am I. And just because you think you're gods gift to man doesn't make you gods gift to man either. Sure our WvW guilds are leaving but they aren't going to contribute anything on other servers either, they're going to sit back seat stfu and do what the REAL WvW guilds tell them to do. I can say that because Ehmry Bay comes in second literally every week, if not last. I'm pretty sure if you were at least decent at WvW you could pull at least ONE first place finish.

Soul hasn't posted here, but OG will be remaining for the time being to see how WvW shakes up with the losses.  We'll naturally re-evaluate once the dust settles, but we're staying with EBay as things stand today.  I am conservatively anticipating a drop to low 5 or high 6 right now.  It's going to be felt no matter what.

The emotional backlash against those that are leaving is understandable, but not really constructive.  Even those of us that consistently run quietly in our untagged havoc groups outside the zergs know and respect the guilds/commanders that are leaving.

We all feel the disappointment with ANet for reducing the variance so much that we get double-fisted almost every week with failed imbalance consideration.  The departures will make things worse before they get better though, as we descend into the new rank.

I won't lie.  I had been seriously debating moving for well over a month now.  I won't leave my guild behind though.

It was a pleasure running with you ZoD and GH.  You will be missed.

On the topic of toxicity,  I dont think the Guilds leaving are the ones who caused "toxciity" But rather the opposite.  There is such a bad vibe here that makes it seem like we are frowning upon them.  GH and ZOD have worked countless hours for this server.  But yet non of that seems to be appreciated here.  Maybe the ppl who are staying and stating negative vibes are the toxic ones =o.   Non the less, I am sure it wasnt easy for any of the ppl who are leaving to leave and I am sure they wanted the same that we all wanted for ebay, To build it from the ground up.  Every server goes through its ups and downs.

False expectation will always result in frustration and destroy relationship. Until you internalize this, you will never find your inner peace. There is no need to defend why you stay or why you leave. If you do not truly understand the real reason why, which only you can explain to yourself, then all is just a good excuse to make everybody feeling better. Yep, that's all there is to it.

Being said that, I have a good time running around w/ Goldiy & Noice, learn quite a few lessons and do appreciate the time they spent for eBay. Good luck to all of you. Take the lemon Anet gave us and try to make it a lemonade. Some Vodka in there make it easy to swallow.

The crazy thing is that I've seen posts from almost everyone in this thread about feeling burnt out at some point or another, those leaving and staying alike, and while most of you have been great about this and will be missed, a few people seem to forget the breaks they themselves took with little to no warning or an estimated time that they'd be coming back. Those people more or less abandoned the server (by their own logic since leaving is either fairweathering or quitting as no other possibility is reason enough to halt their scorn), so it's incredibly hypocritical that when they come back, they come back with fists swinging even after they got the break they were looking for. At least most of us are still in-game and available to do stuff with outside of PvE.

We're taking a well-earned, extended break now as well. As soon as news of the transfer got around, players from our guild who had transferred to other servers (some who even quit the game altogether) started coming back and asking to move with us. Hate us all you want, in the end our guild mission is to support our players and help them enjoy their time with us as much as possible. If that earns your hate, we're sorry that our good will towards our own inconvenienced you.

There may be one problem with Ehmry becoming a wagon server, though.

"Ehmry Bay" doesn't lend itself to very many good "wagon" puns.  So people might not wagon over because no good puns.

I should reiterate I don't like WvW the concept is boring and dull to me. If you don't want to WvW just don't no one forces you to play that aspect of the game. I do however PvP I don't restrict myself to just PvE. My point was that people get into long heated arguements over stupid shit and wont take responsibility for their own actions and that you can't call Ehmry a top tier PvE server just because of a single marionette kill which isn't even that hard to accomplish you simply need numbers and players with half a brain to realize they need to rotate switches in order to sever ties effectively. I did go onto a more drawn out rant about WvW because players I personally know to be awful at this game are in "Class Lead" positions in WvW Guilds and are teaching other people how to fuck up their role in WvW, when that happens you're going to innevitably fall behind the rest of the pack.

I wasn't talking about PvE, I was talking about your view that we don't work in WvW to get first place. Then you turn around and say that if we don't want to WvW, no one is forcing us to. But then why would you make comments that it's on our shoulders that the server gets second every week and doesn't win because we aren't putting in the effort? You are saying two completely different things, so either make up your mind or try to give some of us a bit of slack please.
