I'm not a pro guardian, but I do definitely like my burn build (running sword/focus and GS). It's squishy, but it has plenty of blocks, blinds, and leaps/teleports; if I'm careful with those, I can avoid a lot of damage while hitting pretty hard. It procs burning like crazy.

Your new look is pretty cool (and "Inferno Demon Sanji in a Jar" would be a good name for a band).

I looked at those weapon and your a half-burn guard in my opinion not a fully-fledged one:P

Maybe Sanji is a Thug would have been gd also oh well.

Wonder what kind of music a band like that would sing...ukulele maybe.

I tried torch initially because I wanted as much fire as possible, but I found the focus offered more defensive utility. The blind is helpful, the condi clear is a nice bonus, and the block is a lifesaver. Plus, with Amplified Wrath, blocks are basically free burns, so I still get plenty of fire.

And red-and-black burn guards like these are obviously into metal.

Silvers your guard / Tatiena your ele, how much more damage do you do with fire?
I think I like us to run a comp soon in wvw...2 melee rangers, 2 guards and 1 ele...with so much aura fire to make me smile for days:)
Tho Comp might be 1 ranger, 2 guards (silvers and wurple), 1 ele (taty) and well buttercup thinks of you nessakins so 1 necromantic mistress also in the comp.

Am looking at tweeking my ranger a little...and the dmg numbers seem impressive...not counting ennemy counters and perfect execution...the 2 shot combo for ard 5 sec hits for 50k dmg.

Grinning everytime...I get on my all flaming asurian guard...am converted:) ...Sanji in Flames / Sanji a Bonfire / Sanji on Fire...instead of Sanji in a jar?...just a passing thought.

Also I read the TS comment you did last silvers and I think I should tag up and lead the ebg crew with french dialogue haha

I'll have to check the actual numbers later, but my guard's condi damage stat is probably around 1400, and my burns hit pretty hard.

You should totally tag up and then suddenly switch to French mid-battle. It would be a beautiful wreck.

1535 on ranger with the new stuff changed and added for me for condi stat
but the worst part I got 1108 or 9% critical chance but with changes Ill have +20s at times and other times 100% + without investing in precision at all armor/weapo stats.

Burning on my ele hits for about 500 damage for a couple of stacks, but I rack 'em up fast with balthazar runes and my traiting. I flipped a camp just now and was hitting for 1k+ per tick on the vet supervisor. Only 221 condi though.

Silvers I wish fractal skins werent account bound...i got a focus on the level 32 fractal...would have been a nice piece for your guard or ele sigh.

Nessa ill be getting another amulet to give me another +5 ar and with the other backpiece ill be getting to put another +5 that gives me 50...so with 6% extra dmg only am ready for level 40s with a little more challenge but i might do another ascended armor piece for another +5 to be at 0%..cant remember if am at 500 armorsmith or not...need a better log to see them all like the wallet thing...would be nice for crafting since we all have issues with trying to figure on which toon and what level our crafting is at...a crafting wallet with toon named, crafting types and level that someone can browse on any toon at any time would be nice to have...oh I spoke to much anyways.

Note: So we can try a level 40 today later even tho youll probably not get rewarded for that high yet due to your personal reward level.

Note: Silvers with armor and trinkets are you gonna be near 35-40 soon...would be nice to have you for level 30s you know:)

Note to self: Be a mean inferno in a jar bagger and get wurple and taty into our level 10s fractals....sidenote get fraani to come and be our hand lift portable meat shield and friend also:))))

Hmm. That skin isn't purple enough to go with my ele, but it might work on my non-burn guard.

Yeah, the crafting system could use an overhaul to make it less clunky. Being able to see more account-wide stuff could be helpful, too.

Speaking of crafting, I'll start leveling artificing so I can get better AR.

Agony isn't inherently challenging or interesting; it's just a way of gear-gating the higher-level versions of the fractals. Mechanics like using Horrik's cannon shots to break through Mai Trin's shield are more what I'm thinking of.

Silverwastes is a step in the right direction, I think. It's not the most exciting map ever, but you can't completely snooze your way through it the way you can with a lot of the content that shipped with the base game three years ago.

I dunno. Maybe things change drastically at the higher levels, but so far, I'd say it's one of the easiest. As long as you don't panic and/or box yourself into a corner during the crazy cannon parts, it's not that tricky.

Those trip wires are some of the most obnoxious things in the game, and don't get me started on trees that randomly appear out of nowhere.

but the trip wires you can see them most of the time...the tree spawns are annoying when you get teleported also...
