Silvers, can you be my permanent back piece?  We all know my dodging skills are lacking and boom I seem to be dead at times.  Guess I will look at different gear to help sustain and give me life support.
WTB mini-Silvernis backpack. Regen, fire field, and blast finishers on demand :D

As far as boom and dead goes, some of that admittedly stems from (not) dodging, but I also kinda think necro got the short end of the stick when it comes to active defense. You don't have any blocks, evades, invulns, or projectile absorption, you have very little stability, and your mobility is criminally non-existent.

Some soldier or knight gear might help a bit, maybe even something with healing power to boost what you get from your health siphons.

That's kinda why I've been getting more into fractals, it's less *stand here and burn boss, move to next boss, repeat*.  Fractals have more to them that you have to do or know more then just optimal dps rotation.
Agreed. While I might piss and moan about the swamp, I definitely do like fractals overall.

GW2 + Batman: Arkham Asylum?
No idea. I've never played a Batman game, so I couldn't say.

I'd greatly enjoy a raid that is a defense/survival scenario against an overwhelming number of powerful enemies. Like the old karka event that wiped out entire zergs. Fight for your life!

WOW, way to make a girl feel some kind of special  :)   Still like the back piece idea better.

I meant that it's not you, it's the class, lol. Of course you are some kind of special. :)

I'm kinda surprised there aren't mini-asura backpacks already. They have charr and quaggan ones; it's time to replicate the master race in back-wearable form.

If they made an asura back piece you wouldn't be able to see it as they are already so small :P

I had to work on my dodge kill a lot, when I started because a lot of the games I had played moved really differently.  I practiced dodging Seigeraiser, because you can keep working at it for a long time without killing him.
PvP is another way to learn how to dodge and move more smoothly.
It is a different type of movement from most games.

Secondly, raids will introduce the very first ever set of legendary armor. This isn’t any ordinary armor set! Similarly to legendary weapons, you’ll be able to change the stats that the armor provides. When entering combat, you’ll become a beacon of your heroic deeds as the armor set comes to life, animating around you.
Sanji, I think I found the next legendary for you to work on. :P

The lightning footsteps would be perfect for my ele, but I don't really like Meteorlogicus.  :-/  (Plus I should probably save my Gift of Exploration for the new HoT legendaries.)

I'm kind of wondering if, when they describe the armor "set", they mean it will be created as a single box from the forge or if we will need to make each piece individually.

I've been wondering about that. I'm hoping it'll be a boxed set kind of deal. Having to make each piece individually would take a stupid amount of time and resources.

Resources I have...but I'm picky with my time. Not really into tedium, RNG, or time gating.

Because of course they wouldn't already be doing that...

I'd bet solid money they'll be pieces. A one-and-you're-done type deal would be out of character.

It sounded like a box deal.  Plus if it requires a gift of exploration like all other legendaries could you imagine doing world completion on 3 characters just to make the full set O.o

I dunno. As much as ANet likes to add grind while pretending they're not adding grind, I think Shuttles raises a good point about the gift of exploration. I doubt they would go so far as to make you do world completion three times (x2 gifts for six pieces) to craft a single full set.

Unless they skip the gift of exploration and add something equally tedious instead...

So I was just thinking.  If they are changing fractals to just 1 fractal is a run and there are no plans of doing normal dungeons anymore, does that mean the payout for doing a fractal might get a boost and hopefully scale up in how much gold you get depending on the level of fractal you do.  Like anything under scale ten gets 10s, but once you hit like 50 it goes up to 1g it something.  It would obviously have to only be for so many fractals a day otherwise people would just farm fractals all day for money but I hope it becomes something like this.  Currently a full fractal run only pays 1g, at least at my level :-P, and takes over an hour to run while you could easily make triple that doing the normal dungeons.

I find fractals lucrative enough...when drops are decent...I think nessa said she made 22 gold on one run and 8 gold yesterday on another run...so always rgn something...rub Nessa's head for luck!

What scale was that?  And what do you sell?  Everything?  I tend to have a habit of hitting deposit collectables when my bags are filling up so my income may be off from what I actually get.  Doesn't help I'm only level 4 in it though lol

Sounds like she sells anything and everything the most lucrative way possible.  Next time I see her on I'll have to ask her of her ways and hope she will impart some of her wisdom on to me.  Do those higher level fractals take a lot longer to do?
