That being said, it seems like personal reward level makes a difference. I'm getting noticeably more/better loot now that my level is increasing, and I figure that trend will probably continue. I usually just salvage everything (since the exos are account-bound), unload the junk at the merch, then deposit the remaining mats to refine and sell later.

What's your level at now silvers?  I remember when I first did a fractal with you guys you were just starting out like me.  I'm guessing your around 20ish now?

Seems like no matter what I run with you guys I'll always be going up in scale since none of you are very low anymore.  Dying to agony here I come!  After another run of them I should be at +10AR though so that's something :/

I'm still saving up infusions, so I only have 15 AR at the moment.

I still think agony is kinda lame. Pretty sure the only time I actually died last night from was the unavoidable, unblockable agony the game randomly whacks you with before boss fights. It's basically just a cheap, obnoxious gear check.

Unless they skip the gift of exploration and add something equally tedious instead...

They might make it cost that much for legendary + freely adjustable stats + can pass freely between your characters. All the more so if it shifts between light, medium and heavy.

Three character's worth of map completion. Tedious but faster than gaining any 100 levels in WvW except for the first.

If it can be passed to any character regardless of weight class then 3 full map completions are worth it.  If it's locked to a single weight class then no way.

And no shuttles...if you pick the right mistlocks at 31+ level then its fine same time same thing.
Tho some mistlocks you want to avoid say the Mossman appearing randomly threwout the fractals or every enemy you kill explodes...so image those while doing diviner or dredge....

As you go up more npcs spawn and hit harder but with the right cooperation its same thing....I heard 50 is ruffer am lazying at 49....

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty pumped. Even if I end up not running hammer, the traits sound like they could be great. (Rapid regen on swiftness? Looks like I'm going back to kit refinement.)

I used speedy kits/kit refinement religiously for a long time, but I've been trying out a different setup that uses the alchemy line instead of tools. I'm using mecha legs for speed (plus the condi duration reduction), and I get backpack regenerator and HGH with it, which are handy. That being said, if the ICDs on the new trait let me get rapid regen when I get swiftness, I'll likely go back to speedy kits at least for my scrapper build.

So how about that finish or revive at range we are getting.  I know I was all about the rev last beta but if the scraper comes out like it sounds, the engi will remain my main for a long time.

It could be very cool if the AI works as advertised, though after playing with mesmer illusions and ranger pets, I'm a little skeptical about the gyros. We'll have to see.

And I'll still definitely be spending a fair bit of time on my rev. I was pretty meh about it at first, but you convinced me. The class has a ton of potential.

Right!  The rev is crazy if you dig into it some, though I'm not to crazy about the gutting of malyx...

As long as the gyros work as described even a little bit, roaming in wvw is going to be sooo strong with a scraper.  I just wonder about it's pve application though, I fear nades or a burning condi build will still be better by a lot.  But we will have to see.  I might actually watch this POI stream this week lol

Yeah, definitely going to try to catch this POI. (I think the only other one I watched was the reaper's?) Very much looking forward to seeing how the hammer plays, along with the abilities and traits. It sounds like there could be a lot of interesting internal synergy.

Yeah, I want to see how fluid the hammer attacks are.  Some attacks, like the rev staff, were really rough to play with so hopefully it's really smooth.  I'm curious about that triple leap too, wonder how much distance it will cover?

I picked up a mecha-hammer a while back, but after seeing those new screenshots, I dunno. I want that giant wrench, and that big gear hammer. (I already have a tab-and-a-half in the bank full of armor and weapons for just my engineer, and it's not going to get any better.)

How do you have that much gear for your engi?  All I have is sinister, celestial and zerker and the weapons that are used in those sets.

Three full rabid pistol/shield/armor sets (the brown set I typically use, the blue set for when I'm feeling fancy, and my goofy Quip set).

Scientific pistol and shield for when I want to use the Scientist outfit.

Zerker rifle and armor set.

Soldier rifle and armor set for my old tanky flamer build.

Extra guild backpack (because it looks cool).


...I might have a problem. And it's going to be the same damn thing with my revenant, I just know it.
