I for one thought it was pretty interesting that the ANet dev in the stream straight-up admitted that stealth is a one-sided mechanic without a lot of counterplay. That begs the question of why they keep adding stealth bullshit to the game, but then, I'm not a cleverpants like the ANet designers obviously are.

So I'm watching about the druid, and all that healing looks delicious...unfortunately I have no ranger at 80 anymore

I am not watching the stream, but I am getting info in drips and drabs from Dulfy. Way too early to tell, of course, though I'm not sure about the healing. I don't necessarily want the trinity to return, but I think the reality is that the lack of content requiring defined trinitine roles is what's led the game to the zerk meta and stuff like stack-and-DPS.

This ought to be interesting.

Edit: OK, looking at the traits and utils. That is a lot of healing. Like, almost nothing but healing. Not gonna lie, it makes me a little nervous. The game in its present state doesn't require anywhere near that much healbotting, so...are we going in a direction where that much healbotting will be required? I'm not sure that's necessarily a good thing.

From what I was seeing it's going to be really good for pve and pvp situations.  Definitely something you want around.  It's all about CC and sustain of themself and of their allies.  It's not a straight up healer but a straight up support through the healing and CC.  It's damage is lack luster for sure but with all the healing and cc it gives out it will definitely see a lot of play I think.  They kept stressing on how much your not going to be able to be zerker anymore in the new content, which is amazing, but at least they are filling in the trinity roles really evenly throughout the class's in the game so there isn't a end all be all for it like in most games.  I still want to get my hands on that scraper and do some wvw roaming and havoc to try it out

It's going to have more of a place then rangers currently I think since rangers don't bring much to a group setting atm aside from frost spirit but that dies to easy.
