Yeah, playing with gear made of paper has that effect when you can't see attacks coming because the aoe circle doesn't show up on my screen in time :P. I'm also still learning a lot of the fights in fractals, what's ok to get hit by and what's not and just general boss mechanics

OH THE EXCUSES SHOTOLS. i'm wearing paper gear so i don't accept that as justifiable for your failness! (no but seriously, new computer, you need.)

Yeah, playing on xp home edition with a 2.4(overclocked to that from 2.1, anymore and it becomes unstable) duel core with 2gigs of ram just doesn't cut it anymore.  It's only about 7 or 8 years old with only the power supply and video card being updated in that time.

Who needs to know boss mechanics?  You just run in head first and hope for the best.  And tell your wifey she is welcome anytime even if I am cranky and impatient.  Oh and she can feel free to hit any of us to play with, only Opals bites.

That's pretty much how I've handled everything from fractals to the new areas.  Just going in without prior knowledge, learning and adapting the best I can as I go.  Seems to work for the most part.

Well fractals need a lot of dps on first boss...sigh. check wild for soon to be 10 man comp set up I guess. ty all those that tried it tonight.

did you guys do fractals after? i was tired so had to bow out. still tired actually. i might skip on gaming tonight and go to bed mad early. (but probably not because who can resist the pull of gw2? i want my mastery points for auto-loot, dammit.)

SILVERS. i need sleep. i turn into an even scarier monster when i'm tried. i start slurring and say Ridiculous Things. imagine, if you guys already think i say ridiculous things...

No opals I meant raid guess I was tired also...I tried raid again at 1am and got the first boss split done but the ran out of time.

I saw you all in raid last night when I logged in - I take it that it didn't go so well? If you need to fill out your 10 and don't mind an iffy ele, let me know what day/time you attempt again and I'll make a point to make it :)

The boss is a damage sponge, so we could definitely use someone to rain down fiery DPS. :P

We got the mechanics of the first boss fight but we just needed more dps...our coordination into green aoe circle was excellent last 2 tries...we really just need a ton of dps and condi dmg....and I tried today pugging never again.

Hum we can speed blitz some swamp paths opals with silvers:)
