I know most dungeon paths but the bad ones like TA Aether.  I also don't know any Arah or CoE.  I don't know anything about fractals other then you need agony resist.

Oh and Sanji, your not new to something if you know all the paths by heart

Feel free to hit me up for dungeons if I'm on and you guys are short. I dont do a lot of dungeons just because I dont like to run with strangers in LFG. You never know if you will run into mean ones or nice ones.

Quick edit: sorry for wall of text.  Didn't think this was going to be this long.

So I made a reddit thread for that video with silvers Nessa and I and other then people saying I need to be more aware of my surroundings people are also saying our communication needs work.  I feel when we are running as a group of more then 2 we should probably be in TS.  I know silvers doesn't really talk and pretty much everyone listens to music and I suck at being driver but if we all work on it we could become something to be feared.  We are all strong solo players, we just have to learn how to work together more and we could beat almost anything that comes our way. Like sanji was saying last night after some of the fights, we shouldn't have really lost anyone in a few of those fights.  I'm not trying to turn anyone hardcore or anything, heck I only play like what 2 hours tops most nights so hardcore is out for me, but I feel when we get organized and are thrashing groups two or three times our size we will be having loads of fun.  

What's everyone's thoughts on the subject?  I want to know how you guys really feel about it.  I'm going to start using my Mic soon, but probably only on days like last night where I'm on for a long while.

We need to focus the backlines...during one fight we lost...the ele got a rally needed another to dps or protect my stump...just that made the diff. in that fight near mid-ruins.

Don't forget Pulse...is still new to WvW...on a staff ele, low rank...so the opposition did and will focus him.

And roaming with 6-8 is diff. to our 4 comp.

Also our grp was engies,  zerkers staff eles, necro and war so our heavies are lacking for closed-in tower fights like we had.

Was nice having Bertsy and that para joining us also.

Maybe I'll run my dagger ele next time we have a larger group for the support it offers.  That or run celestial engi instead of zerker.  I agree running with 5+ is definitely different for us compared to 4, that will take some getting used to if that becomes more common.  We need to communicate more about if we are low health or an enemy we see is low or is getting rezzed.  I know the target calling is good for that which we are doing much much better with but vocally saying it might help with response time.  Oh and the splitting up we do, that's not in our best interest most of the time lol.  Stop it you squirrels! (I'm horrible at this part )

Final note: I don't back down once a fight starts, I stay till the end so no retreating from me.  Repositioning sure, but no full on retreat.  Once I go in I don't come back till I'm dead or they are.  Usually it's me as we are outnumbered a lot of the time.

Coordination is our stumbling block—or rather, the lack thereof. In a 1v1, I think any of us could do reasonably well. In group fights, though, it can kinda be a crapshoot. There have been plenty of times where we should've wiped our opponents without losing anyone, only to get wiped ourselves because we were scattered.

I know I'm the worst when it comes to scattering. I'm still too used to fighting solo, and I tend to tunnel vision and worry about staying alive before I worry about using skills at the right time/place to benefit the party. I've been making a conscious effort to work on this, but...well, still room for improvement, obviously.

TS could help. I don't have a mic (I typically game when other people in the house are sleeping right down the hall, and I rather doubt they'd appreciate me cursing like a sailor when we run into a swarm of LB rangers), but I can at least listen. Also, calling targets can be very useful.

Sanji also raises a good point about our typical group comp. With the exception of Sanji's warrior, we tend to run comparatively squishy characters. That's not really a problem per se, but I think we need to take it into consideration.

I promise you, the rank doesn't matter. Running a staff earns you the kind of focus that the last bird on Catworld would feel uncomfortable with.

Likewise. I wish our enemies took the same approach. Runners piss me off. Either stand and fight and kill me, or stand and fight and get killed. Running away (whether it's mobility skills, porting, or logging) is just lame.

1 person without a Mic isn't going to be a deal breaker in a fight.  As long as you can listen that should be enough for us to do well.  I might start running celestial engi when we are in a bigger group so I'm less squishy and give more support and sustainable damage.  That should help with us being so squishy at least.

I've been running a static discharge zerker build.  But I think till we get better I'm going to go back to celestial.  What do you run Aduah

I can get a mic, I'm just concerned about volume. I guess I should do some research. If I can speak quietly into the mic and still be heard through miracles of audio technology beyond my ken, then I guess it'd be worth trying.
