As for Ascended, there was a bug released with HoT which caused the drop rate to plummet. We fixed that and brought it back to pre-HoT levels, but felt that still wasn’t good enough, so we updated them again with this patch.

Now on a better note, the changes they made to wvw plus the dungeon and fractal updates have made me want to come back.  Problem being is I have tendinitis in my right hand and am I have a brace on my hand for the last couple weeks now.  I have figured out how I could play but I won't be even close to as good as I was because I don't have the buttons on the side of my mouse.  I'll probably pop on tonight for a bit to figure out which character I'm going to play since engi is to complex for my limitation in my hand.  I was thinking ele, rev or finally do something with my thief.

Thinking of voting score improvements, because QoL is nice but if the game mode is still wacky then there's no point to the QoL stuff.  What's your guys opinion?

I voted for scoring improvements. The mode's core mechanics should take priority. If they can stabilize the mode, make it more engaging, and attract a consistent WvW population—which admittedly is a big if—then I imagine the QoL stuff will follow as a matter of course.

Hey nessa, the dungeon reward increase is from the dungeon frequenter achievement.  They didn't increase the daily chest gold, only the token amount given.

With alpine BL back I'm thinking of going for a roam for a bit later if anyone is interested.  Oh and I'm sorry silvers but I've been messing around on my thief(daredevil) and having tons of fun with it, way more then I did with rev.  But don't worry, I'm playing more of a brawler build with no stealth on my bar.  It wrecks in spvp so I can't wait to port that over to wvw and give it a go

Nessa and I messed around in BL for a bit last night. It did indeed feel like coming home—complete with repeatedly getting ganked 8 vs. 2, lol.

I did a couple stronghold matches and it's a pretty good build that I'm still tweaking, but it gets the job done.  As long as I'm smart about my CDs and dodges and don't just blow everything out the gate I can last quite a while despite being close to full zerker.  It's getting better with each iteration, can't help but to feel like you though silvers...being all hipster running a build people don't find good or even viable, but we'll see how they feel about it when they are laying on the ground

So you run stuff that people normally don't, because your to stubborn to do it the way people say or what works best.  Essentially you go against the grain to do what you feel which happens to not be what everyone else does.  I get that all right?

That Nevermore is so sexy.  On the talk of staff using, I'm still not settled between thief and rev.  I'm going to play thief a bit more and see if I can get used to it, I have the rest of the time of making the staff to figure out who will be the owner of it between the two.

My only reserve of playing rev is the fact that staff is more of a situational type weapon being more cc and condi clear then back to sword, where thief it's a main weapon.  So you can see where the dilemma comes in of what class to play :/

You could keep it in your shared slot and just swap it between thief and rev.

But my copper fed salvage-o-matic goes there :/  I'm actually thinking about playing thief in pve and rev for wvw depending on how I'm doing with thief in pvp compared to rev in a couple weeks of going back and forth between the two.  Rev uses staff mostly in pvp scenarios so he wouldn't use it much in pve maps.

So after some reviewing of thief dueling and roaming videos I've come to the conclusion that thief players have no idea how to fight outside of stealth even if the weapon they at using is more of a non stealth type weapon.  Sad really...

Oh and I'd rather eat paint chips then watch two thieves dueling again, it's like a Chinese torture for your eyes x.x
