Anyone can engineer, but only few of us have the appreciation and dedication (and carpal tunnel now) to play it well.  We are musicians of a sort, misunderstood but every once in a while thanked for a good performance.

So I spent my daughter's whole nap today unlocking the rest of scraper, just need 7 more hero points.  I have to look more into the traits but my gear stats are going to have to change if I'm going to play scraper over regular engi.  It's a bruiser play style and the regular engi builds don't hold up in melee combat.  If I can't find a good pve build that maximizes damage and gets similar results as sinister engi or power revenant I'll probably just play engi like usual.  However, if the damage just isn't there and it doesn't bring much party support I'll only play engi in pvp and wvw and well likely play rev for pve.  I'm not a fan of sinister engi, but it out damages any other build in the game currently by a large amount :/

I see you found someone running around in the feathered geared.  I wouldn't know that off the top of my head or anything, I totally looked it up.

Pretty sure that's not feathered. I think it's winged and carapace? These are important issues.

Hey silvers, don't know if your at work or something but if you get the chance check out marauder and crusader stats for gear.  Tell me you don't see tanky bruiser scraper with a mix set of those two.  Think I found my new wvw set

Just pulled up the stat mix on the wiki. I'd say there's definitely some scrapper potential there.

Now just to get my Fix-R-Upper and make a quick exotic set with those stats, then head into WvW forever unless I need gold I'm really interested in how those new maps play once people start going back to wvw.

I should just suck it up and level leatherworking and armorsmithing, but...crafting.

Yeah, those new stat sets seem to be only crafted.  Sorry :/

Yeah, really not happy that. I don't understand why ANet does that with new stat sets. I understand gating tiers of gear (i.e., ascended or legendary) behind crafting requirements, but why the stats themselves? Why can't we buy exotic celestial, sinister, or whatever?
